Crow’s feet
Wrinkles formed around the lateral canthus due to UV rays, aging, etc.
Cause
The wrinkles are formed by loss of fibrous structures such as collagen and elastin due to long-term exposure to UV rays, aging, etc.
Since the lateral canthus has a thinner skin layer compared to other areas, the crow’s feet are mainly formed along the furrows of the facial muscles by their contraction and relaxation.
Symptom
Initially, crow’s feet appear mainly in the form of fine wrinkles. When left as they are for an extended period of time, they develop into thick wrinkles which are not aesthetically desirable.
The elasticity and moisture of the skin tissue in the wrinkle area decrease with the loss of collagen and elastin

DATA
Dermal Layer Remodeling

Compared to 2D fibroblasts, FECS-DF has a superior collagenase (MMP-1) and collagen production ability.
The effect of dermal layer remodeling is expected as collagenase (MMP-1) decomposes the old fibrous tissues in the dermal layer and new collagen rebuilds it.

Secretion of Skin Regeneration Factors

Compared to 2D fibroblasts, FECS-DF(3D) is superior in the production rate of growth factors related to various skin regeneration including PDGFRa, HGF, IGFBP-6, bFGF, VEGF, etc.

Skin Wrinkle Improvement

The depth, number, and length of wrinkles decreased and the collagen density increased in the FECS-DF injection group 3 weeks after the administration using wrinkle-inducing animal model. The thickness of the thickened epidermis and dermis due to the damage also decreased, which confirmed the effect of significant skin wrinkle improvement.
